 About 250 years old, the property is a typical rural house of Vendée in Repoiroux, a hamlet of six families set in a leafy valley among fields and farms. The house is said to have been a bakery and the door to the old bread oven (long out of use) remains in the second double bedroom.  Well-tended gardens surround the house and the interior is finished and furnished to high standard in accord with its period.

 The living-room has a bed-settee, TV and radio, and incorporates the fitted kitchen,  which has electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave oven and refrigerator and a full range of kitchen equipment, china, glass and cutlery.  Equipped with blankets, duvets and English-size pillows, there are two double rooms and one single room. Upstairs, the main bedroom (above) spanning the width of the house, is equipped with a double bed, cots and en-suite shower room.  Downstairs, the second double bedroom offers twin beds and opens onto the garden.  Downstrairs, the third bedroom is equipped with a single bed. The property is ideal for family holidays. The bathroom includes a separate shower and also an automatic washing machine. In addition the back garden has a large grassed area with garden furniture and a barbecue.  |
